Royal Icing Recipe
Use this to ice sugar cookies or make custom sprinkles.
1 pound powdered sugar
1/2 C Aquafaba
1/2 t Vanilla
1/4 t Cream of Tartar
Beat aquafaba until frothy. Add in Cream of Tartar & Vanilla & beat again until incorporated. Add about 1/2 pound of powdered sugar, mix/beat on low speed until incorporated. Add remaining sugar and mix well. This will give you a good consistency for making custom sprinkles. Divide into small mixing bowls to create your custom color palette! For flooding cookies, add a few drops of water and mix; repeat until you get your desired consistency. Thin your icing after you add colors to get the perfect consistency.
