Celebrate Mother’s Day with a grounding, hands‑on botanical workshop designed to slow everyone down and make something beautiful together. In this calming class, you’ll learn how to mix the right soil blend, wrap and bind a kokedama, and care for the specific plant you choose.
Kokedama is Japanese for “Moss Ball” and is a beautiful way to display a special plant and visualize fond memories of your class. If you’ve visited us in the past 4 years, you may have seen one hanging by our front door.
Each participant can create one of two styles:
• a mini kokedama with wire work and vintage teacup or similar size vessel, or
• a large solitary hanging kokedama you can display anywhere you like.
You’ll choose your plant from a curated selection of easy, kokedama‑friendly starters (ferns, trailing plants, tropicals, etc.), and you’ll receive individualized care guidance based on your specific plant’s needs.
This workshop is perfect for mothers, daughters, sons, partners, or anyone who wants to share a quiet, creative moment with someone they love. Come solo or bring someone special — either way, you’ll leave with a living piece of art and a soft, memorable experience.
